Since the subject of menstruation is sensitive, Kotex  decided to attract a young target audience through relevant content rather than traditional advertising methods, hence the creation of the makeover.me website and mobile app. In order to increase engagement rates and registrations to the site and to get users to come back for more, a rewards system was put into place for users who participated in seeding the website’s content and who actually purchased Kotex products.
