Position DescriptionWe are currently seeking a talented search engine optimization specialist that is passionate about SEO and has the skills to propel our clients’ websites to the top using only ethical white hat practices.
Monthly Salary: Based on experience
Experience Required: 3-5 years
Location: Our offices at Mansourieh El Metn, Lebanon
Job type: Full time
Start date: ASAP
Main Responsibilities- Analyze website architecture, link structure, content, and document optimization recommendations.
- Work with internal development and design teams to implement improvements to new and existing sites that result in top page natural search listings.
- Draft optimization plans for various website components including copy, meta tags, page title/descriptions, internal linking, sitemap, etc.
- Ensure adherence to proper SEO guidelines with respect to coding and adherence to established copy/keyword standards.
- Research targeted keywords and match up to relevant content pages.
- Monitor overall SEO program success with regard to keyword ranking, indexed pages, backlinks, etc.
- Perform competitive analysis to help improve future SEO results.
- Maintain knowledge of current SEO practices to develop and recommend new SEO strategies.
- Maintain awareness of various SEO resources and tools.
- Report on traffic and positioning and use available analytics tools to develop comprehensive analysis of data for senior management .
- Forecast visit figures based on past performance and available market data
- Selecting potential link candidates
- Successfully obtaining & negotiating inbound links
- Assess Sites Spider Friendliness & Make Recommendations Based on Research
Specific Requirements- Must have a good understanding of the following:How browsers process data
- How search engines process content Robots.txt & .htaccess files
- SEO Friendly Redirects
- Mod-Rewrite
- Optimizing dynamic websitesOptimizing Flash websites
- Various content management systems
- Troubleshoot sites with ranking problems
- Keyword researchSite Structure
- Internal link structures
- Link popularity
Basic Requirements- Internet literacy is a must
- Fluent in Arabic, English, and French (speak and write)
- Good computer application skills (MS Office mainly)
- Must be productive, committed, creative, innovative, and a good problem-solver
- Effectiveness, quality, and efficiency in achieving duties
- Commitment to perform assigned task according to job description
The perfect candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years experience of optimizing websites for Google, Yahoo, and MSN while being a cooperative team player with a can do attitude. Also examples of your SERP results would be beneficial.
